I spend nearly one week in Sydney (and Canberra) and as last time I must say I love Australia and australian people. Everybody is friednly, joking, laughting, taking it easy. Regretfully I got a cold and the only 2 evenings I had for myself I couldn't enjoy the nightlife and had to go back to the hotel at 11pm.
I can only recommend you to fly to Australia and enjoy your stay here.
